2026 Heart Pillow Bash!

Several months ago, we received a message from NCT Heidelberg letting us know that they were running low on heart pillows. That was the perfect motivation for us to organize our first Heart Pillow Bash of the year together with the students of Schiller University in Bahnstadt.

Seven members from our club joined the event, along with 8–10 students, many of whom were participating for the very first time. For the third year in a row, we are incredibly grateful for the students’ enthusiasm, help, and continued support. We would also like to extend a special thank-you to Schiller University Heidelberg Campus, which once again generously provided the venue for our event. In addition to hosting us, the university kindly supplied drinks and snacks for all participants and even made parking spaces available in their garage, helping to make the day comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.

Yesterday was a very productive day! Together, we completed 90 heart pillows and cut and sewed several more that will be finished soon. It was wonderful to see everyone working side by side, sharing skills, conversation, and laughter while contributing to such a meaningful cause.

The students enjoyed the activity so much that they are already looking forward to the next Heart Pillow Bash—and so are we! Events like these remind us how much can be accomplished when people come together to support their community. We are thankful to everyone who participated and helped make the day such a success.
